Interest/Hobbies

FFA, yard work, flower gardens,sun and swimming. For the last 3 years I have been active in the Relay for Life to fight cancer and will continue to be active.

My family is my life and the four of us are very close. My faith in God keeps me going. I love being a teacher and love to smile.

Interesting facts about me

Growing up I was very involved in sports, drill team, and 4-H. I got to attend the National 4-H Congress in Chicago when I was a freshman at GCC.

I was a Jazzercise instructor for 12 years getting to perform at a pre-season Dallas Cowboy game; Dallas Mavericks game and Houston Rockets game!

I graduated from Texas A&M University with my secondary certificate and received my elementary certificate from Texas Tech University

Years Teaching

I have been teaching for 24 years. I have taught all grade levels except K, 2, 7, 9 and 12. This is my fourth year at Bells Elementary teaching third grade, which happens to be my favorite grade level.

Family

I am married and have three awesome children and one wonderful daughter-in-law. Kyle, 25, is a County Extension Agent in Crosby County where his wife, Katie, teaches kindergarten. Morgan, 22, is a radiology technician in the Sherman-Denison-Durant areas. Jordan,14, is an eighth grader at Bells Junior High. My husband, David, keeps busy with three businesses that he owns and operates in the Sherman-Denison area.

Interest/Hobbies

When I am not teaching school I love spending time with my family. We enjoy boating on Lake Texoma and traveling to warm climates.
