Language Arts:
Reading and Writing: We will be studying persuasive writing. We will also begin writing a persuasive essay about a family tradition.
DGP: Wk 18 with a focus on proper nouns
New RC goal for next six weeks will come home on Monday. They will only have 5 weeks to complete due to Camp Jolt. Please plan accordingly!
Students need to prove their answers on the homework passages. Students are losing points for not showing where they found the answers.
Math:
Continue Unit 9 Lesson 2: Metric measurement, students will calculate conversions for length, capacity and mass as well as solve problem situations involving temperatures (using Celsius and Fahrenheit). Continue working on multiplication skills. Please review and quiz your child nightly so that your child may master these very important basic multiplication facts (1-12).
Science
No test, No homework, Work on ocean projects. Students who did not do a project will be working in the book.
Social Studies
Westward Movement
TUTORING
